I'm surprised to be the first post of 2009 but it IS for a good cause: This Sunday, April 19th, from Early Morn 'til After Noon (I really don't know the exact hours!) the Roosevelt Foundation is sponsoring their annual PANCAKE BREAKFAST all for only $5.00 (probably less for grandkids)& Raffle tickets with chances to win hundreds of neat prizes. Not only a good cause, but a grand opportunity to see friends from the old neighborhood and school chums from all the classes surrounding yours. The '63 Teds are planning to meet in the Boyz Jym (I never got to that spelling class)around ELEVEN O'clock (11:00a.m.) at the "Sixties Table". Hope you can make the Breakfast, win lotsa PRIZES but especially hope to see you at Eleven!! Dave worked long and hard, at cleaning up this site, from the hackers of the past. Too bad we can't invite the hackers to a game of "broom-ball", as a challenge to their impropriety et al. Or, some times a punch in the nose has clarity, as well as utilitarian worth.. Fun time at Lungy's "gathering of the willing and able", 6/21/11. There just is no dependable way of getting the word out, other than friend to friend and word of mouth. Good times, good eats, good 'pops', and nobody horrified us by wearing a 'speedo'. Maybe see you at a tentative winter respite in LV. les
